Mask Making Kit

In response to the widening Covid 19 pandemic, there is a shortage of masks for places like care homes and the general public will shortly be rquired to wear these outside, etc

We have put together a Kit to make appx 20-25 masks

Contents of the pack:-

A lovely assortment of colourful 100% Cotton poplins for outer 1.40mtr appx( 3 or 4 pces sent)

A Vilene interfacing to act as a barrier 1.60mtr appx

Plain cotton backing 1.40mtr appx

plus enough narrow elastic to secure. 10mtrs appx

Please note these are not to any medical or surgical grade but purely as a response that we have had from you all to ‘give back ‘ to your community, or to use for yourselves to help you feel more confident while your are out and about

 

 

Care homes and nurses going into elderley homes have expressed that they have little and sometimes no extra protection. If you can lend a hand, please help and pass to your local area, there are facebook groups popping up!

 

There are tutorials on You Tube etc for those with limited sewing skills, and a guide contained in the pack for a number of mask patterns
