Produced in large washers with bleach resulting in it’s unique appearance (and shade variations from shipment to shipment and batch to batch) it is soft and malleable and very easy to sew. Ideal for many clothing items including shirts and skirts as well as craft and soft furnishing projects.

8oz/ 260g Prewashed denim in 4 shades. Ideal for clothing, craft and furnishings projects.

There are 4 shades, a typical standard denim blue and then a lighter pale shading plus a lovely darker Denim available and now also Black.

Do not store under lights or in windows – it will fade over time. Colour may be lost by washing, wearing & daylight. Denim dye can transfer onto lighter colours including upholstery. Before wearing clothes made from denim they should be washed several times in cold water to rinse out any loose dye that may rub off, It is also advisable to turn denim clothes inside out so they don’t rub against other items, and wash with other dark colours.

Washing Instructions – Preshrunk so additional shrinkage should be minimal.

Wash separately first couple of times. 30 degree wash. Cool tumble-dry. Avoid folding when wet as creasing will occur.

We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.
